Comfort is key, so we’ve opted for spacious king size beds with memory-foam mattresses and luxury bed linen. You even get to select your mattress style. Are you a hard or soft type? Need a dog bed too? Just let us know.
Enjoy spectacular views over the glorious Queens Park and Southampton harbour. From our central location, it’s just a short walk into Southampton city centre and all it has to offer. For your convenience, all of our rooms have fully-equipped kitchens and spacious king-size beds. Plus, our versatile living space can be used for work, rest or play.
You’ll find in-room entertainment, superfast free wifi, bathroom and kitchen facilities. Or simply stare outside at the beautiful views of Southampton harbour and park. Getting to the Southampton Hometel
Travelling by rail
It takes about 10 minutes by car from Southampton Central train station to our hotel, or a 30 minute walk through Southampton city centre. Alternatively, catch a bus from Oxford Street (bus stop route 15).
Travelling by road
The M3 is the main motorway to Southampton from Winchester and London to the north of the city. The M27 links Portsmouth and Fareham to Southampton from the east.
Travelling by sea
Taking a trip across the Solent to the Isle of Wight or a longer cruise overseas? room2 is an ideal pre-cruise hometel. We’re around 5 minutes from the Ocean, Queen Elizabeth II, Mayflower Southampton cruise terminals.
Travelling by air
We’re a 30 minute drive from Southampton Eastleigh for the Southampton airport terminal.
